Purpose: Paint in a bag demonstrates healthy sensory play. Use of different colors and touch allows the individual to be exposed to a different texture and colors. Fine motor skills that are needed for writing and cutting with scissors are demonstrated if they practice letters/ finger painting. Following instructions could also be used in this activity by practicing writing letters in the paint using their finger.
